Cotton jersey face masks are a three-ply, 100% cotton mask. They cover the wearer’s nose and mouth and have elastic stretch binding ear loops to help hold it in place. Not to be used as a substitute for surgical face masks or N-95 respirators.
The CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. The CDC also advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and to help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others.
